Thinking: Why do things always have to be on their terms? Damn it!!!

Indeed, tonight I will be having an encounter with the beast aka Therion (word of greek origin which actually means beast), one of my favorites bands ever. They play symphonic metal **head banging** with fantastic lyrics. Recently, in the their latest cd, Gothic Kabbalah, they performed a song called “The perennial Sophia” which made me love them even more **hehehe**.

I’m so excited and hoping that for this concert, they bring the orchestra instead of a sample of it. The latest thing doesn’t allow the music to be felt as it should. Also, I wish they play several of my favorite songs such as “Eternal return“, “Wine of Aluqah“, “The perennial Sophia“, “Wisdom and the cage“, “To Megatherion“, among others.

Also, this is my first real “going-out” after I came back from my european trip therefore, I hope my parents cool down although that’s kinda impossible to happen. I know, it’s pathethic since I’m very old for that sort of behavior on their side but they, specially my father, just not seem to ever change. Anyway, let’s see what happens, I just won’t allow to ocurre again something similar to the event of the Aerosmith concert, some months ago: I wasn’t allowed to go because the next day was my admission exam to the masters program. I don’t think that kind of precaution was needed however, I’ll never know.

In the meantime, let me be a itty bitty of a show-off and share with you a little glimpse of my concert ticket. It’s peculiar but since the place where is going to take place the concert is located in down-town, one actually need a sure and safe place for parking. For that reason, I had to buy another special ticket for the parking lot **hehehe**.

Everything would be perfect only if my love was here… **longing** I know Therion is not his sort of music but one of the ten thousand things that I love about him is that he’s quite an adventurer open to new experiences. He was with me at Opeth and HIM’s presentation during the Ilosaarirock 2007 (in Joensuu, Finland) and that made me enjoy by far so much more the event **jumping around**. So, for the time being that’s all.
